This website ("Site") is operated by The Variable Annuity Life Insurance Company ("VALIC"). Your use of this Site constitutes your agreement with the Terms detailed below and all changes to the Terms that VALIC may post at a later date. Please read the Terms carefully before using the Site. You should also check the Terms periodically to review any changes to the Terms.

No Warranties
VALIC provides all Information available on or through the Site to you on an "as is," "as available" basis without warranty of any kind. VALIC specifically disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement with regard to all content and information that you view, obtain, or access on or through the Site.

Your use of this Site is at your sole risk. VALIC does not warrant that your use of the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. VALIC does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any information or content that you view, obtain, or access on or through the Site, including any opinions, advice, or statements that you obtain through use of the Site. It is your responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of all information, content, or results that you obtain from or through the Site.

Limitations of Liability
While VALIC uses reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the Site, errors or omissions sometimes occur. VALIC is not liable to you or anyone else in contract, tort (including for its own negligence), or under any other legal theory (including strict liability) for any damages, including without limitation, any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect, special, punitive, or similar damages, including without limitation, lost profits or revenues, loss of use or similar economic loss that results from your use or inability to use the Site, or the information or content available on or through the Site, even if VALIC or an authorized VALIC representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

VALIC does not assume any liability, and shall not be liable for, any damages to, or viruses that may affect your computer equipment or any other property as a result of your access to, use of, or browsing in the Site, or your downloading of information contained in the Site.

In no event shall VALIC's total liability for all damages and losses exceed the amount you actually pay, if any, to access and use the Site for any cause of action arising, in whole or in part, as a result of:

2. Your inability to access and use the Site, or
3. any breach by VALIC of its obligations under these Terms.

Restrictions on Use of Materials
You agree not to use the Site for anything that:

4. promotes, encourages, or furthers a criminal offense, any civil liability, or any violation of law; or
5. constitutes the advertising, endorsement, or solicitation of any product or service.

You may not: reverse engineer, reverse assemble, reverse compile, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise alter any executable code, contents, or materials that you view via the Site. The product and service that VALIC provides to you through the Site are available only in the United States. You may reproduce the content on this Site only for your private, personal, non-commercial use. You may not modify, distribute, display, publish, sell, license, or otherwise reproduce the contents displayed on the Site without VALIC's prior written permission

In no event do you acquire any ownership rights in or to the Proprietary Material. In the event that you access or use the Site or any of the Proprietary Material in an unauthorized manner, you may violate applicable copyright, trademark, patent, and/or intellectual property laws and these Terms.

Subject to the limitations above, you have permission to use and reproduce information and related graphics available from the Site for your personal use, provided that:

1. The copyright notice below appears in all copies and provided that both the copyright and this permission notice appear;
2. The use and reproduction of documents and related graphics available from VALIC is limited to personal, non-commercial use;
3. No documents or related graphics, including logos, available from the Site, are modified in any way; and

Ownership of Information
Any information, other than personal information about you that you transmit to VALIC using this Site by electronic mail or otherwise, including data, questions, comments or suggestions, will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary and will become VALIC's property. Such information, other than your personal data or information, may be used for any purpose, including, but not limited to, reproduction, solicitations, disclosure, transmission, publications, broadcast and posting. VALIC is free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in any communication you send to VALIC using this Site for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, developing and marketing products using such information.

Confidentiality
You hereby authorize VALIC to collect aggregate information that is not personally identifiable to you about your use of the Site and to use your information to provide any service that you request, including, but not limited to, transfers of value requests, allocation changes to your current investment selections, and partial cash distributions.

VALIC will only use, reuse, distribute, transmit, manipulate, copy, modify, access, disclose, or re-disclose your information to the extent necessary for VALIC to implement and maintain this Site. VALIC and VALIC's users will hold your information in confidence and protect your information with a standard of care required under state and federal law.

VALIC has implemented security features to prevent the release of or access to your information that is transmitted through or stored in the Site. One of these features is limitation of access to the Site to only authorized VALIC users, all of whom are assigned confidential IDs and passwords and who need access to the information in the Site to service and maintain the database in the Site and to carry out your instructions relating to transactions that you request to be processed on and through the Site. All VALIC users are required to certify their understanding that your information is considered confidential, that it is important to safeguard your information, and that VALIC will take appropriate action against any of its employees who fail to acknowledge these facts or adhere to the requisite standards of conduct.

The Site requires that you use a browser that supports Secured Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to scramble information over the Internet as it is sent from your computer to VALIC's server. Finally, the Site is protected by a system of filtering routers and firewalls, which form a barrier between the outside Internet and the internal network.

There are certain aspects of Internet usage, your computer and your links to the Internet that VALIC cannot control. Therefore, your transmission of information to VALIC through the Site to initiate certain transactions relating to your VALIC account must be undertaken at your own risk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any password-protected information that you use to access the Site. You agree to accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your password connected with any breach of your obligation of confidentiality.
